How Build & Boosted collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Build & Boosted is a one-person website design and social media marketing service based in Central London. This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your personal data if you use this website — including exactly what we collect, why, who (if anyone) we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Build & Boosted is the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at aria.aryanifar1@outlook.com.
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us yourself, through the contact form on this website. That currently means:
We don't have user accounts, we don't take payments through this website, and we never ask for card details, passwords, or ID documents here.
The only way personal data reaches us through this website is if you fill in and submit the contact form yourself. We don't use analytics software, advertising pixels, or any hidden method of tracking what you do on the site.
We use the information you give us to:
Submitting the contact form does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.
Under UK GDPR, we rely on two lawful bases:
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and handle enquiries:
These providers only ever process your data to provide their service to us. We don't share your information with any other third party, and we never sell it.
Netlify and Google are US-based companies and may process data on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, they're required to maintain an adequate level of protection for your data, such as through the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
We keep enquiry and client communications for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry, deliver any agreed work, and meet basic accounting record-keeping obligations — typically no more than 6 years after our last contact with you, after which it's deleted.
We won't email you for marketing purposes unless you've separately asked us to. If that ever changes in future, you'll always be able to opt out in one click.
This website sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics or advertising tracking. The only cookies that may be set are placed directly by Google when the reCAPTCHA spam check loads on the Contact page — these are outside our control. You can read Google's own privacy policy for details on how they're used.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, email aria.aryanifar1@outlook.com — we'll respond within one month.
This site is served entirely over HTTPS, with standard browser-level protections in place (including strict transport security and a content security policy) to help keep it — and any data passing through it — safe. As above, we don't collect or store any card payment details on this website.
This website and our services are aimed at business owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Our site links out to our Instagram page and, in future, may link to websites we've built for clients. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of any website we link to — it's worth checking their own policy before sharing information with them.
We may update this policy occasionally — for example, if how we use the website changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, we'd like the chance to put it right first — email us and we'll do our best to help. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
